Create Unforgettable Memories: Hunt Gators & Make Custom Boots

We have teamed up with our partners Cold Blooded Outfitters on an unbelivable experience.  Make some of the greatest memories with your friends or team by booking a guided alligator hunt—then turn your trophy into a pair of custom boots! Spots fill up quickly, so book early. Hunts run from September 11 through September 30.

We offer a variety of options and packages, so please reach out to discuss what works best for your group.

Pricing: $6,000 per person (groups of 4–5)

Your hunt includes:

• All necessary guns, tags, and ammunition (a hunting license is required—we’ll help you obtain one if needed)

• The opportunity to harvest an alligator up to 8.5 feet long (larger gators available for an additional fee)

• 10 lbs of gator meat to take home

• A professional taxidermy head mount of your alligator

• Tanning of your gator hide into premium leather for boots

• A custom bootmaking experience at Republic, including a design and fitting session with a specialist

• Handmade custom boots crafted to your exact specifications

 

Additional details:

• Hunts take place in Anahuac, less than an hour from our shop.

• Overnight accommodations at our lodge are available for groups.

• Upgrades to your custom boots are available at an additional cost.

• Plan on a half-day experience for the hunt.

• Gator hides take approximately 8 months to tan, but the boot-making process runs in parallel—so there’s minimal wait time beyond tanning.
